What is the typical weather like in Captain Cook (Big Island) Hawaii?
Specifically how often do you get to experience blue skies and blue ocean (versus gray skies and gray ocean)? I am here right now and it is very overcast - is this normal or just because this is “the rainy season”?

Generally the weather is Sunny even back when Captain Cook first visited the Islands.
Normally the weather is sunny with only a few clouds and is roughly 90* days and 70* nights.
